RE>FWD>Cross-reactivity revisted 8/29/97 We screened PharMingen over 200 human mAbs including 113 CDs, sub-CDs, HLA, TCR and some anti-chemokine receptor on leucocytes from 9 animals including Banboon, Rhesus, Cynomolgus, pig , sheep, horse, bovine, dog and cat. Result showes that the cross-reactivity is more clone dependent than CD dependent. You can contact with Pharmingen marketing if you want mAb and more information. Zhang Chen Human Immunology Research PharMingen San Diego -------------------------------------- Date: 8/29/97 8:47 AM To: cyto-inbox From: Xi-Feng Yang Flow people, I have found a place to put a massive chart of antibody inter-species crossreactivity (at the University of Florida's Cytometry page). A few of the companies e-mailed and said they could supply some information for their products, and that will be a good start. Would some of the labs out there who have "trial and errored" their way to this knowledge would like to share what they know, so others will not have to go through the same struggle? You may someday need to use this reference, so please contribute to the cause! If you have data to share, please send: Antibody specificity (CD## or otherwise, and intended species) Antigen and species with which it cross-reacts Manufacturer CLONE Anything else you deem relevant (intensity, special staining, etc.) If anyone else has ideas about other info that would be useful on this chart, please let me know. Just send everything to me, and I'll let you know when something is available. Thanks for all previous responses, and in advance for anticipated responses. kb Keith Bahjat University of Florida School of Medicine Gainesville, Florida Kbahjat@mindspring.com ------------------ RFC822 Header Follows ------------------ Received: by pharmingen.com with ADMIN;28 Aug 1997 19:25:24 -0700 Received: from flowcyt.cyto.purdue.edu ([128.210.60.31]) by fw.pmgsd.com via smtpd (for [204.182.230.3]) with SMTP; 29 Aug 1997 02:23:29 UT Received: by flowcyt.cyto.purdue.edu (940816.SGI.8.6.9/930416.SGI.AUTO) for cyto-sendout id SAA09793; Thu, 28 Aug 1997 18:57:41 -0500 Received: from brickbat8.mindspring.com by flowcyt.cyto.purdue.edu via ESMTP (940816.SGI.8.6.9/930416.SGI.AUTO) for <cytometry@flowcyt.cyto.purdue.edu> id QAA08309; Thu, 28 Aug 1997 16:52:54 -0500 Received: from ms305951.pop.mindspring.com (user-38lc38i.dialup.mindspring.com [209.86.13.18]) by brickbat8.mindspring.com (8.8.5/8.8.5) with SMTP id RAA13787 for <cytometry@flowcyt.cyto.purdue.edu>; Thu, 28 Aug 1997 17:35:54 -0400 (EDT) Message-Id: <3.0.1.32.19970828173615.0069e358@pop.mindspring.com> X-Sender: kbahjat@pop.mindspring.com X-Mailer: Windows Eudora Light Version 3.0.1 (32) Date: Thu, 28 Aug 1997 17:36:15 -0400 To: cyto-inbox From: Keith S Bahjat <kbahjat@mindspring.com> Subject: Cross-reactivity revisted Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"
