Does anyone have any knowledge of direct or indirect Fl. probes to
membrane lipids? For example, it would be useful to sort High vs Low
cholesteral
content fibroblasts. Any experience out there with possible topological
changes
in the cell due to high lipid content in the membrane that might be
reflected in a shift in scatter characteristics? If there was some handle
to sort by then we
do have knowledge of a histochemical stain for verification.
