RBC Lysis

Recently, I have observed trypan blue uptake by lymphocytes from murine
messenteric lymph nodes that have been exposed to 0.14 M NH4Cl buffered
with 0.017 M Tris pH 7.2 for 5 minutes at 4 degress C.  Is there some
other RBC lysing solution  that is preferable over NH4Cl/Tris solutions
that will not harm lymphocytes?
