I can't say about the Turbosort since we chose to buy Cytomation MoFlo.
However, we have been running regularly at 65psi (that's with a 70um tip and
100K+ drops/sec and 12-20Kcells/sec and 2 lasers). Everything we have put
through has had excellent viability. The cells range from thymic and splenic
(mouse) lymphocytes, cytokine expanded human dendritic cells, to a wide
array of in vitro cell lines. Some of the experiments have used the sorted
cells for RT-PCR with excellent results. Many of the experiments involved
single cell cloning with excellent cloning efficiency. Part of the success
may be due to Cytomation's specially desighned tips.
