We are currently evaluating third party software for analysing data (acquired on Coulter Elite or XL) on Mac computers. We have looked at MacLAS, and are currently looking at FlowJo. I have a copy of FCAP, but I haven't started looking at it yet. Our applications are purely research not clinical, and cost is a significant factor. My favourite program is actually WinMDI and we have thought of using SoftWindows or similar to run it on the Macs, but its major limitation is the inability to save template/workspace/layouts or whatever. Cost makes MacLAS unlikely. Some of these programs don't seem to do one-D histogram overlays, which we use a lot. Does anybody have any suggestions, anyone with experience with the above programs care to comment, are there any packages that we have missed out?
