Dear Group, I understand that commercial posts are usually discouraged on this newsgroup. However, in response to Jan's inquirey, the BRYTE HS from BIO-RAD, using the 550nm output from either the mercury or mercury-xenon bulbs should work very well to excite Cy3. They have been told you can't use a FACScan as Cy3 won't excite at 488nm. Any suggestions which instruments can be used.
