We are seeking sponsors for young researchers who wish to attend
the Cytometry Workshop and Course "Confocal Imaging, Flow Cytometry
and Image Analysis" to be held at the Jagiellonian University in
Krakow. Due to a lack of funds I had to turn down several requests
for financial assistance from young researchers and clinicians who
were unable to finance their participation in this meeting. It is
rather disturbing to have to refuse participation to people for
whom the Course is being been organized. Thus, I am appealing for
help from those Companies, Organizations or Individuals who can
donate even small sums of money (we need some $500) to help these
young cytometrists to attend the meeting.
May I also take this opportunity to thank those who already decided
to support this Course. A list of our generous sponsors is given in
the Second Announcement which is being distributed via Internet
today.
