The basic problem with pasting CellQuest figures is that the resolution on the monitor is not as good as what comes out of the printer. However, I have taken the figures to be used for slides or publication and pasted that into Power Point (which came with the FACStation as part of Microsoft Office). From there the figures can be unjoined (or whatever-phrase that Power Point uses for this), the labels that are on the plots can be erased and new labels put in using Power Point. The resolution on this text is much better than the pasted CellQuest text. What is even better, since we are a core facility, I can convert the MAC power point files to PC with Apple File Exchange (came on the System CD) and hand the disk to an investigator who has a PC with power point.
