Tissue typers usually use a Hamilton multichannel pipettor for small volume pipetting into Terasaki plates. We are setting up hematopoietic cultures in Robbins microwell plates (96 well, 20 microliter vol) using a Beckman robotic pipettor and standard tips. If you have access to a Beckman or other robotic pipettor in your organization, that may be worth checking out.
