POST-DOCTORAL POSITION AT LOS ALAMOS NATIONAL LABORATORY The National Flow Cytometry Resource at Los Alamos National Laboratory has an opening for a post-doctoral scientist to develop instumentation and applications related to the study of molecular interactions and macromolecular assembly. The project involves quantitative fluorescence measurements of interactions between nucleic acids and/or proteins, including enzyme activities, binding affinities, and kinetics, as well as the design and characterization of new flow cytometric instrumentation for making such measurements. Experience in one or more of these areas is desirable. Requirements: Ph.D. in biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field received within the last three years. Annual starting salaries currently range from $42,740 to $46,180 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
