Sytox Green

Sytox Green was originally studied as a viability marker for 
bacteria.  However it also works very well for yeasts and 
lots of Eukarytoic cells.  One of the references describing its 
use in bacteria is as follows:
J. Appl. Bacteriol. 81, 411 (1996).  
Detailed conditions (time and concentration) for using it are 
described on the Product Information Sheet which can be requested 
from Molecular Probes.
