GLIIFCA 98 Competition Guidlines

The seventh annual meeting of GLIIFCA will be held in Detroit this year. The imaging session of the program this year will focus on confocal microscopy, laser scanning cytometry and cell cycle analysis. the flow cytometry session will include rare event dection and sorting and quality control of reagents used in intracellular antigen detection. The clinical session will be focused on quantitation of analytes by flow cytometry. Cytokine measurement by immunoassay and viral measurement using molecular assay will be presented.

11:40 Award Presentations

There will be two awards presented: one for a platform presentation and one for poster competition. the goal of the awards competition is to encourage the interchange of the ideas among the meeting participants. The interests of the attendanees range from basic research to clinical case reports. Presentations from all areas involving analytical cytology are encouraged.Posters presented at other meetings are acceptable and presenters may be anyone involved in the work, not just the first author. This is the perfect opportunity for "poster novices" to get involved! Guidelines for research abstracts and clinical case report abstracts are available on the GLIIFCA web page.
