General Workshop information

Who should attend the One Day Workshops?
The workshops are recommended to all flow cytometer operators and laboratory managers who require high level quality control or whose studies involve quantitative determination of antibody binding capacities for specific cell populations. To obtain the maximum benefit from these workshop, participants should have at least one year's experience dealing with flow cytometry data.

Lecture topics include:
Theory and definitions of quantitative flow cytometry
Elements of comprehensive quality control
A unified approach to instrument setup and calibration
Determination of antibody binding capacity (ABC) of specific cell populations

Workshop activities
Lectures on the theoretical and practical use of standards
Individual and group problem solving and data analysis
Individual software training
Written examinations

The Center typically provides all workshop materials.
Contractor provides the room, lunch, and break refreshments.
