1% PARAFORMALDEHYDE FIXATIVE FOR SURFACE IMMUNOPHENOTYPING

Procedure:
  1. IN A FUME HOOD, heat 200 mL of deionized water to near boiling. DO NOTBOIL.
  2. Add the following while stirring:

    2.68 g sodium cacodylate Sigma C 0250
    1.9 g sodium chloride
    2.95 g paraformaldehyde Fisher T353-500


  3. Cool to room temperature, raise volume to 250 mL, and adjust pH to 7.2 to 7.4.
  4. Store at 4C in a foil wrapped bottle for no more than 1 month.
