Product Information L1C1

Antigen distribution:
Kappa light chains are expressed on the surface of both normal and neoplastic cells and may occasionally be detected in immunoglobulin producing centroblastic/immunoblastic lymphomas.

Application:
Clone L1C1 may detect kappa light chains in intact IgA, IgG and IgM, or free kappa light chains and Bence Jones kappa light chains. The antibody reacts in immunohistology with frozen or paraffin embedded tissues and can be used to detect normal and malignant B cells. It is also used in the quantification of immunoglobulins by ELISA.

Specifications:
Clone L1C1 produces mouse IgG1 immunoglobulins directed against the kappa light chain of immunoglobulins. Typical working dilution in immunohistochemistry is 1:40
