Antigen distribution:
Heat shock proteins are induced by cells in response to stress such as heat, heavy metals, hormones or viral infections. Heat shock protein 27(Hsp27), is the most common small HSP found in humans. HSP27 is also referred to as the Estrogen-Regulated 24K protein.


Application:
HSP27 is may be induced by estrogen in hormone responsive cells and has been studied extensively in human estrogen responsive tissues such as cervix, endometrium and breast tissue. It may be applied in the classification of various hormone sensitive tumors.
