Application:
Monoclonal antibody B-ly7 (CD103) is strongly reactive with hairy cell leukemia (HCL), a subtype of B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia, but not with other B cell leukemias or lymphomas (6-8).
CD103, clone B-ly7 can be applied in immunohistochemistry for analysis of blood and bone marrow samples, or frozen tissue sections.
Hairy cell leukemia (HCL) is a rare disorder and HCL cells may be present as bone marrow infiltrates or as circulating leukemic cells in the blood (9). B-ly7 is a routinely applied marker for detection and follow-up of B cell malignancies

Specifications:
Clone B-ly7 produces IgG1 immunoglobulins directed against the human integrin containing the aE subunit. B-ly7 has been clustered as CD103 during the Fifth Leucocyte Antigen Workshop 1993 (11).
