distribution |
The antigen
is expressed on all T lymphocytes, NK cells, myeloid
cells and monocytes, as well as on the CD5+ mature B cell
population and on the immature precursors of all
hematopoietic lineages in bone marrow. The only
non-hematopoietic expression is on neuron in the brain.
The antigen is defectively expressed in patients with
Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome. |
