Antigen
distribution |
The CD4
molecule is present on the helper/inducer subset of T
cells that comprises 45 ± 10% of normal peripheral blood
lymphocytes. CD4 is also present on 80-95% of normal
thymocytes and in low density on the cell surface and in
the cytoplasm of monocytes and macrophages. |
