Clone MEL-14 is a rat IgG2a monoclonal antibody which reacts with mouse CD62L antigen. CD62L is a 90 kD receptor for high endothelial venule determinants in peripheral lymph node, required for lymphocyte homing into lymph nodes. Most mature lymphocytes are detected in flow cytometry. Clone MEL-14 inhibits in vitro binding of lymphocytes to peripheral lymph node high endothelial venules (HEV) and reduces in vivo lymphocyte extravasation into peripheral lymph nodes.

Application:
Flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, complement-dependent cell cytotoxicity and in vivo and in vitro blocking of adhesion.
