Clone 3/23 is a rat IgG2a monoclonal antibody which reacts with a type 1 integral membrane protein (45-48 kD) on peripheral blood and tonsillar B cells. CD40 is not expressed on terminally differentiated B cells or normal epithelial cells.

Application:
It is suitable for use in flow cytometry, ELISA, immunohistochmeistry of frozen mouse tissue sections and in vitro B cell activation.
