Further information
Specificity
The specificity of the anti-IgM monoclonal antibody has been verified by
testing in indirect ELISA against human IgM, IgG, IgA and IgD. There is
no cross reactivity with IgG, IgA or IgD.
On flow cytometry this antibody stains approximately 5% of human peripheral
blood mononuclear cells.
Storage
The antibody is diluted in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4.
For long term storage, -20 C is recommended, but it may be stored for short
term use at 4 C. The expiry date on the vial refers to storage at -20 C.
Repeated freeze/thawing is not recommended.
Preservative
Sodium azide is used as a preservative at a concentration of 0.1%.
