Vb13 is a complex subfamily of the T cell receptor.The IMMU222 antibody recognizes Vb13.1 member (HBP34 sequence).Vb13.3 (IGRb14 sequence) is not recognized.Reactivity with other members of this subfamily has not been found but cannot be formally excluded.It has been recently shown that Immu222 can recognize the Vb13.4 (Clone 4.1 sequence) and Vb13.6 (IGRb16 sequence) subsets. This antibody stains 1.8 to 3.3% of peripheral CD3+ cells in normal blood.
