The AH65 antibody is specific for human interleukin-6 (IL-6).This antibody blocks IL-6 receptor binding.It inhibits IL-6 dependent proliferation of B9C8 cell line. AH65 antibody binds IL-6/IL-6.Ra (gp80) complexes.
