We have been using Win-FCM acquisition/analysis software for the IBM-PC for the
past year. For our needs, the benefits of acquisition directly to our network
server, outweigh the few bugs (crashes)in the analysis features. I have been
told the newer versions have eliminated many of the analysis frustrations;
nevertheless we routinely analyze off-line with WinList(Verity). The system
requires a GPIO interface box/data buffer which then links to the parallel port
of any 486 or better PC. Phoenix Flow Systems sells, rents and services the
product.

Has anyone used any Windows or MAC programs with a FACScan or FACStar
PLUS other than the HP/MAC programs that Becton Dickinson sells? We
are stuck between not wanting to stay with the old HP computer system
and not having $48,000 to upgrade two instruments to the MAC system.

Any suggestions? Opinions of other software?

Thanks for your help.
