A detailed description of antigenic changes in B-lymphoid development can be
found in the following reference:

Loken, et al. Flow cytometric analysis of human bone marrow: II. Normal B
lymphoid development. Blood 70: 1316, 1987.

The normal stages of development can only be observed in a multicolor
analysis. In patients post therapy, early B cells (hematogones) can be
observed and must be differentiated from ALL using
multiparameter/multidimensional analysis. Also see the CD-ROM current
