We could use some help with a question regarding the sheath system of a
Coulter Elite ESP flow cytometer (250 um cuvette with 70 um orifice).
We struggle with instability in the fluid/sample system now and then. A
simple way of measuring the internal resistance of the system to assess
possible fouling or clogging would come handy. Does someone know
1) the typical sheath throughput [ml/min or so] as a function of the
pressure P [psi] of the sheath fluid;
2) the typical sample throughput [ul/min or so] as a function of the
pressure difference (Psa - Psh) [psi]?
Many thanks,
