Hi:

To followup and possibly be a bit off topic, both our new BD machines - a
Calibur and Vantage are tied to Macs both 7300's (one is a 120 the other a
130). Both are not up OS 8.X but the current 7.?? version. Both seem to
operate without a hitch.

What I DO want to make note of for those affected, BIDS now has an EPROM
chip that can be installed such that Caliburs (and others?) "wake up" and
know they are connected to a Mac and not an HP. In other words, we no
longer get the BDPAC/BDMAC error anymore. Since having the chip
installed, we have yet to get the error and our Calibur just purrs.
