RE>FWD>Cross-reactivity revisted 8/29/97

We screened PharMingen over 200 human mAbs including 113 CDs, sub-CDs, HLA,
TCR and some anti-chemokine receptor on leucocytes from 9 animals including
Banboon, Rhesus, Cynomolgus, pig , sheep, horse, bovine, dog and cat. Result
showes that the cross-reactivity is more clone dependent than CD dependent.
You can contact with Pharmingen marketing if you want mAb and more
information.

Flow people,

I have found a place to put a massive chart of antibody inter-species
crossreactivity (at the University of Florida's Cytometry page).

A few of the companies e-mailed and said they could supply some information
for their products, and that will be a good start.

Would some of the labs out there who have "trial and errored" their way to
this knowledge would like to share what they know, so others will not have
to go through the same struggle? You may someday need to use this
reference, so please contribute to the cause!

If you have data to share, please send:

Antibody specificity (CD## or otherwise, and intended species)
Antigen and species with which it cross-reacts
Manufacturer
CLONE
Anything else you deem relevant (intensity, special staining, etc.)

If anyone else has ideas about other info that would be useful on this
chart, please let me know.

Just send everything to me, and I'll let you know when something is available.

Thanks for all previous responses, and in advance for anticipated responses.
