FACS 440 assistance?

Dear group,

Our FACS 440 has recently developed a problem and I need your input.
Calibrate signals give an indication of the problem.

Using these signals, I am no longer able to get dots or
accumulating histograms on the data display screen.

Using the calibrate signals, pulses appear on the pulse display screen
only when the ADC switches are in the "off" position. When these are
turned to "acquire" the pulse display screen goes blank.

Also, we usually trigger on forward scatter which has been sent to P3
(because
of a problem with the P1 circuit). Again, using calibrate signals, if we
trigger on P3 as usual, we see no pulses on the pulse display screen (ADCs
in "off" position). If we trigger on any other parameter, however, we do
see these pulses (but still no data on data display screen).

Any thoughts on what this might indicate will be greatly appreciated.

Signed,

Down in Alabama.
