In response to Mr Smoot's enquiry and the single posted response so far
from Dr. Davey, may I clarify a couple of issues.

Coulter has just released a new Windows 95 package called EXPO Cytometer
Software, at a special introductory price. EXPO Software will also run
under Windows 3.1/3.11 and can analyze any FCS 2.0 compliant files. It
is additionally available in an analysis only version.

EXPO Cytometer Software is designed to give a single interface for
cytometer control, data acquisition and offline analysis for both the
EPICS Elite/Elite ESP and XL/XL-MCL cytometers and utilizes common
Windows features for intutitive acquisition and data analysis.

In practice, EXPO version 1.0 actually includes a copy of Elite for
Windows, as we are currently finalizing features such as Autoclone
support for the Elite. We anticipate a beta version of this updated
software will be available by download within the next month, and all
purchasers of EXPO or Elite for Windows will be entitled to a FREE
UPGRADE to the released EXPO version 2.0 when it has been tested and
validated.

If you plan to visit CAC in Charleston next week, please stop by our
exhibit and take a look at EXPO software for yourself.
