How about using PE-Annexin V, and then you can use FDA (fluorescein di-acetate)
as a viability dye (it stains LIVE cells rather than dead cells)? I believe
that PharMingen now has PE-Annexin V; FDA can be purchased cheaply from a number
of sources.
