I've done a couple CD34 selections on G-CSF mobilized normal-donors with
the Baxter ISOLEX system and have never experienced such results. I've
observed that the non-target cells that are captured are primarily
monocytes (CD14+). I almost never see any CD19+ positive events.
It's common to see CD34+CD19+ events in the bone marrow but I've never
observed these cells mobilized to the peripheral blood. Aftter G-CSF, most
are CD34+CD33+.
What was the CD34% of the product? Were these cells also CD45dim? Were
all the events in the selected fraction "lymph-sized" based on scatter?
What was the circulating peripheral CD34/ul count?
