Lysosmes by flow?

A colleague would like to analyze isolated, fluorescently labeled
lysosomes. I have found only a single reference (Murphy, R.F., PNAS 82:8523-6,
1985) in which endocytic vesicles were labeled, isolated and analyzed by FITC
vs. SSC. In general it also appears that SSC is a better parameter to use than
FSC when one is dealing with very small particles. Therefore it looks like this
request should be possible to do on a commercial instrument; however, I was
wondering if anyone has more recent experience doing something like this or
knows of other references which I have overlooked?
Thanks for any help and I will post a summary of any responses I
receive.
