1)Anyone using a whole blood technique for Platelet surface markers where red
cell lysis is performed post marking ?
I have a technique, but I want to compare notes with anybody else who uses this
approach.
2)Glanzmann's thrombasthenia - Anyone using flow for detection of heterozygous
states ?
"Correction" of Mean Fluoresence Index to "equalise" patients and normals using
FS or MPV appears to hold some promise, but I would like to hear the opinions of
people already doing the work.
We have a very large pool of Glanzmanns here due to generations of consanguinous
marriages and a major project to assess the frequency in the population is due
to start soon so any information would help.
