Not that I gate lymphocytes or such, but about non-specific binding...
Really non-specific binding is that part of the 'binding' or adsorption
or whatever that gives a signal that is linearly proportional to
concentration as far as we can determine. Specfic binding is associated
with a set number of sites (and binding constant[s]) which gives an
assymptotic curve. The physical reasons why are enough to give one a
headache, so maybe that's why Someone invented maths!:-)
