I have check the pH of our medium. It is pH 7.35 in artifical CSF
(It is a Ringer buffer with sodium bicarbonate and glucose). In fact,
although it is well documented that it is pH-dependent, I used CO2 to
acidify the buffer from pH 6.2 to pH 7.4 and measured right immediately,
it turn out that there is no great change of the fluorescent intensity by
using 1ug/ml sodium fluorescein. I also surprise of this new result. Can
anyone make comment of this?
