Dear Ross,

I have the same problem with interfacing HP Paintjets with a HP-IB
interface to a IBM.. I think you need the interface box or a interface card
to convert the HP-IB interface on the printer to the parallel on the IBM..
If you have another solution, let me know, (eg. Cables that have parallel
on one end and HP-IB on the other, although I think this doesn't exist as
you need a special card to do the translation...). The problem is that the
card costs around 500 $ and the HP Paintjet are not even worth that !!! If
you know something cheaper let me know..

Thanks a lot,

Matthias
