Charging policy of Core Facilities

In our FACS Core Facility we have been charging until now by number
of samples read in the instruments, regardless of time. We are thinking
of changing over to charging on time basis. We would like to know whether
other facilities that charge that way do it on a whole, half or quarter hourly
basis or maybe even on a minute basis.
