Coulter NY/NJ Users Meeting

Spring is here and our next Coulter user club meeting co-sponsered by
Quest Diagnostics, will be one you do not want to miss! You don't need
to own a Coulter instrument to attend. All flow users are invited.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 8th at the Glen Pointe
Marriott Hotel, Teaneck, New Jersey from 8:30 am to 11:45 am.=20

The Marriott (1-201-836-0600) is off Route 80 at Exit 70B. It is
central to NY, CT, PA, Long Island and NJ.=20

Our Coulter club will present three important talks on both clinical
and research topics. Dr. Kagan=92s work on viral load had been presented
at seminars worldwide. Please try to attend. No charge for lectures
or breakfast! =20

Lectures:

1) Dr. Jonathan Kagan Chief of Drug Development Branch, NAID, NIH,
Washington, DC will speak on Immunologic and Viralogic monitoring
using flow cytometry in HIV infections

2) Dr. Tim Farley Scientific Director, New York Blood Services,
Valhalla, NY will speak on:=20

CD34 Analysis, Application in Stem Cell processing and minimal
residual leukemia analysis

3) Dr. Mark Shenkin Project Manager, Cytometry Research and
Development Coulter Corporation, Miami, Florida will speak on:=20

4 Color single laser analysis in HIV using software controlled gating
