Some of you may recall a (much) earlier e mail from me about this and I'm
sorry to be such a pain in the neck - but it appears to be falling into a
pattern.
Contrary to what I thought earlier, the autofluorescence appears to be only
in those Thal. syndromes that are transfusion independent and not in
de-novo Beta Thal majors.
The Hgb E part seems to be a red herring.
