A Postdoctoral position is immediately available to study molecular
and cell biological aspects of the glycophospholipid (GPI) anchor assembly
pathway. Current interests in the lab include characterization of the
genes of the pathway and the development of a mouse model of the hemolytic
disorder, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, in which the GPI anchor
assembly is disrupted. Previous experience in molecular biology,
transgenic technology or protein/lipid chemistry is preferred.

This laboratory is one of an interactive group of four laboratories
concerned with the study of posttranslational glycolipid anchor processing.
