Raymond B. Hester asked about looking at at Ca++ responses that occur within
seconds (as in 1 or 2 seconds) after the addition of a particular agent to
dissociated endothelial/epithelial cells.

Cytek (Fremont, California, 510-657-0102) sells a "Time Zero" system that is
supposed to delivery activated cells to the laser intercept within one second
and works on the Vantage and Elite. I have not used it, but it is worth looking
at. Also, the Los Alamos group published on sub-second flow cytometry in
Cytometry. 21(3):223-9, 1995 Nov 1.
