T ALL (L1)

Phenotype CD 3/4/5/6(wk)/7/19/33/34(wk)/45/HLA-DR/TdTneg

Again a very different phenotype from the other two cases, this ALL shows coherent scatter and volume characteristics, unusual in an ALL.
Nonetheless the scatter value is consistent with those seen in other T ALL's, being higher than "normal" B types.
Like case B, this cell line has an aberrant myeloid marker, in this case CD33, in addition to an aberrant CD19.

Shown below is a histogram of dual colour marking for CD3 vs CD33 where the abnormal population can clearly be seen in quadrant 2 and normal T cells shown in quadrant 4.
