The CD11c antigen (LeuCAMc) is the 150 kDa integrin aX-chain non-covalently associated with the 95 kDa CD18 antigen(integrin b2). It is expressed by monocytes, granulocytes, macrophages and NK cells. It is also present on activated T and B lymphocytes. It is a member of the b2 integrin family of adhesion molecules. It has been reported as the C3bi and C3dg Complement Receptor (CR4). An additional ligand of CD11c is fibrinogen. BU15 antibody was evaluated during the Third International Workshop on Human Leukocyte Differentiation Antigens.
