In response to Al Sabrish's question:

The three books you mentioned I use routinely and find them to be very good.
I would also suggest the The Microscopy Handbooks #29 : Flow Cytometry
by Michael Ormerod from the Royal Microscopical Society as a nice
introduction to the subject (77pages) for the novice or someone just
expressing a curiosity in flow cytometry.

Hello all,

I have been asked to recommend some books on practical flow cytometry.
I was thinking of "Practical Flow Cytometry" by Howard Shapiro, or
"Handbook of Flow Cytometry Methods" by Pauk Robinson, or perhaps "Flow
Cytometry and Cell Sorting" by A. Radbruch.

Anyone have any comments on these or maybe some other suggestions?
Personal favorites?

Thanks,

Al Sabirsh
