Detection of FITC oligos -Reply

It should be possible to remove the oligos on the outside of the cell with a
brief treatment with protease free DNAse. We have used a protocol like
this to examine the uptake of oligos by imaging. A second method could
include "pulse" labeling once you are sure the oligos are getting into the
cells.
