I doubt that there would be a significant benefit; when does anyone have
time to sift through newsgroups?
I know of a very few newsgroups on subjects that might interest me, and I
get those passed to me as e-mail; very few of those messages are kept more
that 2 minutes or read more than once, but it takes time just to scan them.
