One year post-doctoral position available immediately.
The project is centered on developmental flow cytometry techniques
utilizing modified
in-situ RT-PCR and FISH procedures for cells in suspension.
Particular aims are
detecting specific leukemia/lymphoma related translocations which
then can be coupled
with other cellular antigens. Following successful technique
development, these methods
will then be used in monitoring and investigating the basic biology
of minimum residual
disease.
Candidates should have RT-PCR and FISH experience. Flow cytometry
experience
would also be helpful. Candidate will also be expected to submit a
fellowship
application.
