Colleagues:

Check out the new information in the purdue Cytometry Web site at
http://www.cyto.purdue.edu
Last month there were 47,741 accesses to this site (30 day total), so
it must be useful! New listings include contact info on 25 societies
related to cytometry - emails, webs pages, names and addresses. If
you know a society that's not there let me know. AlSO new is a
lisitng of companies that sell cytometry related products. Have you
seen the pages that shows all of the cytometry books? The image and
confocal books? Section 3 of our page [Purdue Information Network]
has a ton of info. Almost every cytometry related web site in the
world is listed....

CD-ROM Vol 2 is out - it contains both MOSAIC and MS Internet
Explorer. Monica Shively in my lab did a great job of producing
Vol 2. There are 17 sections of information, data, files, samples,
and some multimedia teaching examples. There are over 300 powerpoint
slides in flow cytometry or confocal microscopy - download the
originals, take them, alter them, use them. Then send us yours - for
CD-ROM 3 - they will be listed under your name for others to
achnowledge as they use them. The above web page has info as to how
to get copies of CD-ROM 2 and shows the Table of Contents.

We are tentatively considering releasing CD-ROM 3 at the Clinical
Society meeting August 1997. Our goal would be to emphasize the
clinical aspects of cytometry. For this we need input and help.
Anyone with ideas, or who would like to be part of that the
management team of that project, email me. SHARE your ideas and
knowledge with the cytometry community.
